AdventHealth Orange Blossom Half Marathon-10K-5K

Run through the historic citrus growing region of Florida

Join us in Haines City for a beautiful Half Marathon along country roads in one of the old citrus growing regions of Florida. Haines City is located midway between Orlando & Tampa. A 10K and 5K course is also available.  Approximately 4 miles of the half marathon course is on clay roads.

Start Times:

Half Marathon - 7:00AM; 10K - 7:20AM; 5K - 7:30AM 

Race Venue:  

Lake Eva Park Aquatic Center, 321 South 6th Street, Haines City, FL 33844

Distances:

Half Marathon (13.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles, 5K (3.1 miles)  Course: Half Marathon -10K & 5K -   Course support and Aid Stations will be available for 4 hours, but the finish line will be open until the final participant is finished.

COVID19 NOTICE:

Sommer Sports wants to assure you that the health, safety and well-being of the community, our athletes, staff, and volunteers is always our highest priority.  All of our events will follow the guidelines put forth by the City, County and State, along with those of USA Triathlon and USA Track & Field.

We are encouraging anyone who is in a high-risk category to please, please stay home and complete the race virtually.
Face mask use is required of all participants and spectators before and after your race, and during packet pick-up. Face coverings are not required while racing. Free disposable face masks will be available at Sommer Sports Be Safe station located near the fiinish line.  All participants will have their temperature checked as part of packet pick-up process.

As the COVID situation is continuing to evolve, the information above is always subject to change.  The most current COVID19 information specific to this event will be sent out to all participants prior to race day.

Amenities:

Cool Finisher Medal for all events, colorful event shirt, accurately measured and well monitored course, snacks, & more. Registering by February 15th ensures proper t-shirt size.

Awards:

Half, 10K & 5K - Top three overall, top masters, and the top three in each age division, male and female. 

Volunteers:

Be part of all the excitement at one of Sommer Sport's events. Whether you have just a couple of hours to spare, or the entire day, your help will make a difference.
