Celebrate summer in legendary fashion at Quest for Freedom: Rise of the Phoenix! Our July Sommer Quest combines the energy of a patriotic race weekend with the powerful symbolism of the Phoenix rising from the flames. Expect plenty of red, white, and blue, festive race-day energy, and another memorable morning along the Clermont lakefront. Whether you’re racing the 5K, tackling a multisport event, or continuing your quest through all four races, this is one summer celebration you won’t want to miss.

Double Triathlon & Relay: 440-yard Swim, 8.2-mile Bike, 5K Run, 440-yard Swim, 8.2-mile Bike, 5K Run

Double Duathlon: 1 mile Run, 8.2-mile Bike, 5K Run, 8.2-mile Bike, 5K Run

Course:

SWIM - The swim course is a rectangular-shaped course in Lake Minneola. The projected water temperature is expected to be 82-84. Wetsuit use is in accordance with USAT rules.

BIKE - The bike course travels clockwise around Lake Minneola. The intermediate distance triathlon does 2 loops of the 8.2 mile course.

RUN - The run course is an out-and-back course on the South Lake Trail.

Amenities:

Super cool themed finisher medal, colorful event T-shirt, accurately measured and well-monitored course, and more. Registering 10 days before the race ensures proper t-shirt size.

Awards:

Sprint Triathlon, Double Sprint Triathlon, and 5K Run - Top three overall, top masters, and the top three in each 5 year age division, male and female. Sprint Relay Teams - Top three teams in each of the following categories: All Male, All Female, and Mixed. Duathlon & Aquabike (Single & Double) - Top 5 finishers overall, male and female, Sprint Aquathlon - Top 3 finishers overall, male & female.

Series Info:

The Cool Sommer Mornings Triathlon-Duathlon-5K Series is a four-event multisport series that takes place at the World Triathlon Destination, Clermont Waterfront Park. Each of the four series events is conducted on the same course, allowing you to track your progress during the series.
