Sommer Sports Events and AdventHealth are coming together for a transformational long-term partnership that delivers resources of the area’s most comprehensive health care network for athletes participating in Sommer Sports Events throughout Central Florida.

Enjoy an early evening run along the World's Most Famous Beach at the 6th Annual AdventHealth Moonlight Beach Run!  Pick your distance, 5K or 10K,  or race both with the 15K Bandshell Challenge! All courses are out and back on the hard packed sand of Daytona Beach.  All participants receive a long sleeve T-shirt and finishers for all events receive a super cool finisher medal.  Bandshell Challenge finishers will receive a 3rd super cool Daytona Bandshell Challenge bonus medal.

Clermont Triathlon Club's Annual no-frills Super Bowl Duathlon with a 2 mile run, 12 mile bike, and another 2 mile run to finish.

Enjoy a beautiful sunset trail run at Colt Creek State Park! Select from the Night Owl 5K of the Coyote 10K, or challenge yourself and run both with the Nighthawk 15K Challenge!

Lace up for an unforgettable Florida adventure at the AdventHealth Orange Blossom Half Marathon in beautiful Frostproof! Nestled along the scenic Lake Wales Ridge, this race runs along gently rolling, hard-packed red clay roads that wind through active and historic former citrus groves—offering breathtaking views and a true taste of Old Florida. Whether you're tackling the Half Marathon, sprinting through the 10K, cruising the 5K, or taking on the ultimate 15K Orange Blossom Challenge (10K + 5K), there’s a race for every runner. After you cross the finish line at Frostproof Middle-Senior High School, kick back and celebrate with mouthwatering BBQ, tasty snacks, ice-cold beverages, and refreshing Florida Orange Juice.

Frostproof is perfectly positioned in South Central Florida—just a short drive from Orlando, Tampa, and South Florida.  Major attractions like LEGOLAND, Walt Disney World, Sebring Raceway, and many others are within an hour drive from Frostproof. Come for the race, stay for the adventure!

Florida’s traditional season opener, the AdventHealth Great Clermont Triathlon, features an International (Olympic) distance triathlon consisting of a 1.5K swim, 40K bike, and 10K run. Additional race options include the Olympic Distance Aquabike, Duathlon, and Relay.

The event also offers a full slate of Sprint-distance races, including the Sprint Triathlon, Sprint Duathlon, Aquathlon, and Relay. Participants can also choose from the standalone 1.5K swim or standalone 5K run.
