  Now in its 24th year, this beloved community tradition brings together runners, families, and local businesses to celebrate health, togetherness, and the beauty of Windermere.

  The race winds through the town’s charming dirt roads under a canopy of century-old oaks and along sparkling lakes. It’s a uniquely scenic and family-friendly event that benefits the preservation and enhancement of Windermere’s public parks.

  The race has deep roots in our community. Originally founded in the fall of 2001 as a way to bring residents together in the aftermath of 9/11, it has continued as a symbol of unity, resilience, and shared purpose.
