Nestled along the scenic Lake Wales Ridge, this race runs along gently rolling, hard-packed red clay roads that wind through active and historic former citrus groves—offering breathtaking views and a true taste of Old Florida. Whether you're tackling the Half Marathon, sprinting through the 10K, cruising the 5K, or taking on the ultimate 15K Orange Blossom Challenge (10K + 5K), there’s a race for every runner. After you cross the finish line at Frostproof Middle-Senior High School, kick back and celebrate with mouthwatering BBQ, tasty snacks, ice-cold beverages, and refreshing Florida Orange Juice.

Frostproof is perfectly positioned in South Central Florida—just a short drive from Orlando, Tampa, and South Florida.  Major attractions like LEGOLAND, Walt Disney World, Sebring Raceway, and many others are within an hour drive from Frostproof. Come for the race, stay for the adventure!

LSSC Shamrock Shuffle 5K & 10K

The race course begins on the Lake-Sumter State College South Lake campus, includes the challenge of the South Lake Trail via the Hancock Extension, and ends back on the Lake-Sumter campus with green beer to celebrate your victory. This will be a fun event for the entire family.  All registered participants will receive a t-shirt and medal.* Runners will be timed with prizes awarded to the top three finishers in each race by gender. All proceeds from the Shamrock Shuffle benefit the LSSC Foundation, which supports scholarships and education at Lake-Sumter State College.
